I will be making a workshop soon… perhaps you could tell me some tips and tricks you’ve noticed from his presentation method.
Hi
some tips or i can name it Steve style
1- he don’t like any distortion in the photo so he always use 40 and above for the focal length so that the photo will be nature
2- he don’t use fisheye an tripod
3- he like to be light one or two cameras with two lenses without bags and heavy stuff
4- he ask before shot and joke sometimes to make the person relax before shooting
5- he always select his background carefully
6- looking for colors
7- the light is his game so he like to shoot in early morning or before the sunset to have a warm light also he don’t like to shoot in a harsh light and take the person under the shadow to shoot him
8- he don’t like to go inside the face and fill the frame with it he always like to let a space a round
9- always he comment on our photos not to use wide angle and he ask to go two steps back and shot to avoid distortion
10- and he said sometimes you can darken the background enhance your photo with burn and dodge sharpen saturation but the key in all of that is not to over enhance your photo to be like a painting
11- the focus is always on the eyes of the person
12- he always try not to shoot in a place before he look around the place and explore it
13- take as shoots as you can to the person 10 – 30 untel he ask u to go if you think that the subject is great
these are some of the tips and if i remember more i will update my replay 🙂
Thank you very much for your quick response!
Apart from those valuable tips and tricks which I appreciate and “need to know”, My Question was specifically about his presentation method. In another word, the way he gives the data to participants. Was he a steve job’s like or gate’s like?
Thanks again ostathy 🙂
