The exhibition opening will take place on Saturday the 28th<br \/>\nof October 2017 at 11am and continues until the 28th of November 2017.<br \/>\nIn the first of a photography exhibition series hosted by CAP, the work of Kuwaiti<br \/>\nphotographers\u2019 is brought together to celebrate Mother Nature and the mesmerizing<br \/>\ncreatures of her animal kingdom.<br \/>\nThis exhibition\u2019s four photographers have collected an arsenal of awards and<br \/>\ninternational recognition; from world-renowned competitions and organizations such<br \/>\nas: National Geographic, the Al-Thani International Photography Contest, the<br \/>\nAmerican Photography Federation, the Hamdan Bin Rashed Contest, the Maria Luisa<br \/>\nContest in Spain and the Austria Photography Contest.<br \/>\nThe photographs featured in Wild Moments have been selected thanks to their<br \/>\nstunning technical quality, inspiring subjects and artistic direction. Each of the<br \/>\nphotographs elevates its animal subject either by abstracting its form or by<br \/>\nhighlighting its personality.<!--more--><br \/>\nAbout CAP<br \/>\nContemporary Art Platform (CAP) is a non-profit private organization dedicated to<br \/>\ndeveloping and supporting the arts in Kuwait and throughout the region. CAP is one<br \/>\nof the largest exhibition spaces in the region and since its founding in 2011 by art<br \/>\ncollector Amer Huneidi. The gallery space has presented exhibitions of established<br \/>\nand international artists, as well as emerging and local artists through collective,<br \/>\nthematic shows mainly curated by Arab and international curators.<br \/>\nCAP\u2019s mission is equally committed to its extensive education program which offers a<br \/>\nvariety of opportunities to the community. Workshops are held regularly in the Studio<br \/>\nSpace, where youth and children are invited to learn from local and visiting artists.<br \/>\nArtist talks and panel discussions are presented in conjunction with exhibitions,<br \/>\nexhibition tours are offered to school groups and film screenings are shown regularly.<br \/>\nCAP\u2019s library holds over two thousand titles and is the largest public art book library<br \/>\nin Kuwait. These resources have positively impacted local contemporary art<br \/>\nappreciation and understanding.
