photographing under bad weather and the photo that won 120 k$

I notice now a days that there is a foggy weather in Gulf area and especially in Kuwait and i remmeber the winner photo in the biggest photography contest in the world which is Hamdan photography contest and i said that maybe any photographer can take this photo if he is in the right place and time

what i want to send from this post that you should be ready under any weather conditions and you already have a group of ideas wether to photograph fog dust rain clouds and remember that the photos taken in different mode will have a different look also

try to do a search in google images to see the photos taken in different conditions and have an idea what and where you can photograph when this case is happen for example this is a photo for the international photographer Steve Mccurry and imagine that your are in this place i think you will decide to stay at the hotel   not to go for photography

most of use when the weather is sandy will prefer to stay at the hotel or at home and not to go out for photography , I was in Egypt and when we arrive to the Pyramids the driver was sad because the weather was sandy and not good and i was happy because i was almost alone there with no more tourists and also the camel guides where free so that you can take as many photos as you like with them also there are millions of Pyramids photos but i did not see a lot of these photos under dusty weather
